Q: How much will it cost me to sell my home?
A: We are currently charging just £499+VAT to sell your home which includes a HIP. Movematrix went live in December 2007 and this is our special opening offer. We don’t need high street premises so we are able to keep our fees low.



Q: I have heard that HIPs are expensive, how much will a HIP cost me?
A: Nothing! We provide a free fully comprehensive HIP as a part of our service. We will produce all parts of the Pack and undertake an inspection of your home to produce the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for you.



Q: Do I need a Home Information Pack?
A: All property types now require a HIP before marketing.



Q: Whats the difference between MOVEMATRIX and high street estate agents?
A: MOVEMATRIX do everything that other estate agents do but at a fraction of the cost with the emphasis on great customer service. We have the added advantage that all the services that you will need are under one roof, including; in house Conveyancing, Home Information Packs, Surveys and Financial Services. This not only makes the selling process simpler to manage but faster too.



Q: What is a Move Planner?
A: When you have instructed us, we will appoint you a Move Planner who will be with you from start to finish. They will keep you fully informed about all feedback and levels of current interest in your property.



Q: How are viewings arranged?
A: We will contact you to arrange for a mutually convenient appointment for interested parties to view your home. Unfortunately, we are not able to undertake accompanied viewings.



Q: Will you value my home?
A: Once instructed, we will send you a free valuation report showing examples of similar properties in your area that have recently sold and examples that are currently on the market so you can guage an approximate asking price. We would recommend that you undertake some market research of local house prices prior to our visit using Rightmove and the local property press. Our approach is to work with you to market your home at a figure that you feel comfortable with. However, if your asking price is unrealistic, you are unlikely to generate much interest.

Q: Can I use another estate agent too?
A: Yes, but you may be liable to pay both agents fees on completion.

Q: Where will you advertise our home?
A: We will erect an eye catching For Sale Board on your home and list your property on the main property web sites including Rightmove, Fish4homes, Homes on view, Thinkproperty and our own web site. Nowadays, the vast majority of purchasers find their property on one of these sites and download the brochure. Around 85% of homes are found on the internet first with Rightmove alone receiving around 29 million hits a month.
